OverSpin Putter
Order the OverSpin Putter
to lower your golf score. How?
- The OverSpin design is not as readily influenced by break produced by the grain of the putting green!
- Prevents skidding by promoting overspin on the ball for more precise rolling!
- Reduces "the Yips" since the design produces a more consistent stroke
(A ball with overspin hit to either edge of the cup will "drop in" not "spin out")
- Eliminates hops with its overspin technology and design. Learn More

Belly Putter vs. Traditional Length
A general rule of thumb on selecting a putter is that if you are only missing a few putts with a conventional length putter, then you should stay with a conventional length putter. But if you've got a really heavy case of the yips or are too "handsy," a belly putter (longer putter) would likely work better for you. Golfers with back troubles should also consider the belly putter.
Belly Putters are designed to reduce the "degrees of freedom" allowed a player when they putt. To put it another way, the more that your joints can easily bend or twist during the putting motion, the more degrees of freedom a player has when putting, resulting in more inconsistent putts.
With a normal putter, the player has six degrees of freedom: hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, waist and knees, all of which can be moved just slightly to affect the path of the ball and likely prevent a putt from falling in the cup. Such motions, especially nervous uncontrollable motions, are called "yips", and having a chronic case of the "yips" can ruin a golfer's short game.
Our belly putters (in Answer Style or Mallet style) are typically about 7 inches longer than a normal putter and is designed to be "anchored" against the stomach of the player. This design reduces or removes the importance of the hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders. The tradeoff to a longer putter are decreased feel and control over putting power.
What are "The Yips", "Hopping" and "Skidding" and how does the OverSpin Putter reduce them to improve your short game in golf?
"The Yips" Simply put the inability of a golfer to create a smooth putting stroke. "The yips" can be diagnosed when a putt is jerked to the side or pushing the putt to the other. A nervous reaction to short putts that is more mental than physical.
Avoiding "the Yips": OverSpin on a golf ball helps the golf ball to hug the green and stay 'on line'. Putts hit to the right or left side of the cup will not 'spin out'. The OverSpin on the ball will cause these putts to actually dive into the cup.
"Hopping" When the golfer putts and the ball moves off the grass on the putting green. "The skips" can be diagnosed when a putt is pops off the ground.
Avoiding Hopping: Since the overspin is created immediately upon impact with the ball and overspin on a golf ball helps the golf ball to hug the green it will not hop off the ground
"Skidding" On the impact of the putter and the golf ball the spin starts one direction and then the spin changes directions shortly after contact. Producing a very inconsistent roll and making it more difficult to get the "feel" of how to hit for the proper distance on a putt.
Avoiding Skidding: Since the overspin is created immediately upon impact with the ball and overspin motion continues for the entire time the ball is in motion, it will not skid and provides a consistent putt and feel of distance.
The OverSpin design gives you the advantage of a true and consistent roll, a softer feel and great balance. Traditional putters can cause the ball to skid or hop a few inches or more producing inconsistent results. Our design produces immediate topspin using the 2/5 factor on the ball to produce a straight and true roll with every putt!
The OverSpin putter is designed to maximize the “2/5 R” factor—the point of impact where the putter meets the ball just above center, producing “an instant roll, eliminating skidding.” Through mechanical engineering and university research, OverSpin designed a putter angled to produce an impact point that automatically meets the ball just above center—the desired 2/5 R factor—effortlessly and with every stroke.
